Barchef 1

Year 2013 was held at Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) during the Cebu Food and Beverage Exposition (CEFBEX). The first theme was “The Battle Begins” which showcased both bartending and cooking in tandem as One concept. This was to develop and enhance the expertise of bartenders on how to uniquely, but perfectly pair beverages with cuisine. The event participated by different bartenders coming from the different prestigious establishments around the Hotel and Bar industries in Cbeu.

Year 2014, was held at the Outer parking lot of The SM CITY CEBU during The Cebu Food and Beverage Exposition (CEFBEX). The second theme was entitled “I am the Legend!” It was named as such to boost the confidence and passion of bartenders in terms of delivering and bartending with passion. The event was participaed by different bartenders coming from the different prestigious establishments around the Hotel and Bar industries in Cebu.

Year 2015, held at SM CEBU CONVENTION under Cebu Food and Beverage Exposition (CEFBEX) event. The third themed was “ASIAN Bartenders Meets”. The event was participated by different National bartenders coming from the different prestigious establishments around Cebu and Korea

2016

Year 2016, was held at The Marriot Hotel, Cebu, Philippines. The fourth theme was “Mixology Series Begins” which was a competition that introduced a new trend in beverage industry (Craft). The event was participated by different national bartenders coming from around the Visayas region, with a special guest bartender from Japan, and professional judges from “F&B Manager”

Year 2017 was in partnership with Big Hotel, Mandaue and Ampersand Bar & Restaurant, banilad Town Center, Cebu City. It was themed “Back to Back Master.” We were blessed by the special guesting of Master Din Hassan, a Bar Expert Manager from Celavi Singapore. Woong Seek Yang, Master of THE MODERN CLASSIC and The President of the Association Bartenders of Asia Korea (ABA – Korea), was also present during the event. The Mixology Competition was held at Ampersand Bar & Restaurant while the Flairtending competition was held at Big Hotel. Competitors that participated hailed from all over Asia.

Year 2018 was in the partnership with Big Hotel, Mandaue and Liv Superclub Cebu City, It was Themed as ” Fusion of Era” which had a Back to Back MasterClass by special guests Master Joshua Ivanovic, world Mixologist Champion from Jungle Bird Malaysia, Master Lee Watson, a beverage consultant from The Spirit Library Manila, and Master Aaron Limpe-aw & Master Clayton Paul Munar from Limtuaco Distilleria Inc. The MasterClass was held at Big hotel. The Asia open flair tending & Mixology competition was participated by different countries across the Asian region, specifically, China, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore & The Philippines. The contest was judged by ; Master Shahmil Lin from Singapore, Wawan Onimusia from Indonesia, Park Sang-il from Korea, York Chen from Taiwan, and Filipino Champions: Master Joseph Apostol, Rommel Lopez-Banos, Lee Watson & Master Aaron Limpe-aw.

Year 2019 was in the partnership with Montebello Villa Hotel Cebu City , It was Themed as “The New Era Begins” which had a Back to Back MasterClass by special guests Master Lolita Go , world Mixologist Champion from Jungle Bird Malaysia, Master Simon Cote, a Founder from Apotheke Craft Spirits Manila, Master Keisuke Ksk Yamamoto Founder of Bee Knees Japan ,Master Sangil Park Founder of Bar & Tender Academy Korea ,The MasterClass was held at Montebello Function Room.The Asia open flair tending & Mixology competition was participated by different countries across the Asian region, specifically, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore ,Beijing & The Philippines. The contest was judged by; joshua Ivanovic & Lolita Ivanovic From Malaysia , Woogseek Yang from Korea, York Chen from Taiwan, and Filipino Judges, Jan Rodriguez, David One, Simon Cote ,Andrei Campian
